Biography

Nawel Jmail is an Assistant professor at Sfax University, Tunisia, also a post doc at laboratory: Multimedia, Information Systems and Advanced Computing Laboratory (MIRACL), Sfax, Tunisia in a collaboration with laboratory Institute of Neuroscience and system (INS), Marseille, France. She did obtain her PHD in neuroscience from Aix Marseille University since 2012. She did her electrical engineering diploma in 2007 from Sfax university.

Research Area

Preprocessing of electrophysiological signals EEG, MEG and IEEG, Separation between spikes and oscillations in MEG and IEEG in epilepsy, Despikifing IEEG signal to predict the buildup seizure, source localization of epileptic spikes and gamma oscillations, Epileptic brain dynamic mapping, embedding filtering methods using intelligent architecture. In the other hand she is thankful to her background as electrical engineer. She is also interested in developing neurofeedback and monitoring systems. In fact, enlarging solution and wellness for disabled people is among her research priority areas as elaborating efficient distance education programs (materials and software).
